Details and Care
How do the articulated stave branches adjust for display?
Each reclaimed oak branch tier rotates freely around the central vertical spine without requiring tools or hardware adjustments. Staves can be aligned in a flat two-dimensional silhouette against walls or mantles, fanned into a staggered sculptural cone, or twisted into an expansive three-dimensional spiral tree.
Why do dimensions and wood tones vary between individual trees?
Because each piece is built from authentic, spent bourbon barrels, every stave possesses its own historic aging profile, grain texture, and natural stave arc. These subtle differences in timber tone and curvature guarantee that no two trees are identical, giving your holiday arrangement distinct artisanal provenance.
How should the reclaimed oak timber be maintained and stored?
Maintain the natural wood surface by gently dusting with a dry, soft microfiber cloth before and after seasonal display. Store flat or compact in a climate-controlled interior space, avoiding damp basements or exposure to extreme humidity to preserve the structural integrity of the oak staves.
